Ikea has a pretty broad range - from bottom of the line particle board crap
to real wood stuff. A lot of the real wood stuff comes ready to finish - so
you can either stain or paint it. They have a lot of "modular" type of
furniture, where you buy this and that and the other and construct your new
computer desk or hutch or what have you.

The styling of Ikea is all fairly clean lines. It's somewhat "mod" in feel.

I like their stuff for some things. It'd be great in a kid's room, for
example. But, I don't think I'd be outfitting my main living spaces with
Ikea unless I was on a really strict budget.
