Unless i'm mistaken, McDonald's offers decent salaries, a safe work environment, promotional oppurtunities, etc....
Micky D's competes with Wendys, Burger King, etc, for the same workers. Competition for these workers requires the addition of incentives. A company which refuses to offer these benefits risks employing a force of unmotivated, unhappy workers...making their business a less desirable place for the consumer, which in turn hurts their bottom line...... Long story short: free market competition compels the companies to address the social concerns of their workers. >I think it will support it, because there will always be people that NEED > something and will do what needs to be done. > > I know smart, talented people, that when times were tough got a job at > McDonalds because they couldn't find work somewhere else. > > Just so they could keep working, keep some money coming in.
