It isn't just your school system, but that decision does sound completely
retarded. I would fight it, but that's just me. I like the idea of covering it
with a bandage. And definitely contact the ACLU.

There was a huge story here in San Diego a few years ago about this assistant
principal at a Poway high school. The school had a sock hop kind of dance, and
they issued guidelines that girls could not wear thongs under their poodle
skirts because the thong might be seen when the girls were twirling around.
This female assistant principal stood outside the dance hall and forced all the
girls going in to pull up their skirts and demonstrate that they were not
wearing thongs. So in order to prevent a few girls from exposing themselves,
she publicly humiliated half of the students in the school.

The rub is that the woman didn't even get fired.

>MT's Verizon post got me fired up again...
>
>On my way to work, my wife called and said she had received a call from
>the high school that my oldest daughter (16) attends.
>
>They suspended her for having a nose piercing. Around Xmas, she spent
>$70 of her own money to get a tiny stud in one of her nostrils.
>
>Are public school systems this fekked-up everywhere or just Warrick
>County, Indiana?
