My wife has 19 piercings and  7 tattoos to include a partial sleeve.  I
think it's hot as hell.

Christ I have had my septum, both nostrils, eyebrow, labret, tongue nipples
and the web between my thumb and pointer fingers pierced at different times.

Seriously, even if you personally don't like them, is that the message you
want to send to your daughter?  Submit or be punished, normalize or be
ostracized?

I'd fight it.
