theywere done without the consent of the courts as well. The point I
was making is that there is only a small step from using surveillance
of US nationals communitating with suspected foreign threats to US
nationals with anti-administration views. Who is to say that it won't
happen - the Nixon administration attempted it and were caught. The
Bush administration is currently in the process of attempting it.
There is no oversight. So how do we know otherwise. Do we trust the
"good word" of the current administration, given their record of
prevarication with the voting public.
