First of all, I don't defend burning down an embassy. I merely object to people saying that these people are inherently different than we are. This sort of statement historically precedes some sort of atrocity. I think we should be aware of what we are allowing other people to put in our heads.

Just as an example. I suggest that this cartoon was seen as a deliberate provocation, whether correctly or no. I personally defend freedom of speech, though I think the cartoon was ill-advised. I think that these uprisings make the Muslims look rather stupid, since they reinforce stereotypes but since when is this any different than the rest of the human race? I am sure you will find a way to misunderstand this also.
