First of all, I don't defend burning down an embassy. I merely object to people 
saying that these people are inherently different than we are. This sort of 
statement historically precedes some sort of atrocity. I think we should be 
aware of what we are allowing other people to put in our heads.

By the way, in Denmark, laws were recently passed severely regulating marriages 
between Danes and non-EU citizens. Just as an example. I suggest that this 
cartoon was seen as a deliberate provocation, whether correctly or no. 

I personally defend freedom of speech, though I think the cartoon was 
ill-advised. I think that these uprisings make the Muslims look rather stupid, 
since they reinforce stereotypes but since when is this any different than the 
rest of the human race?

I am sure you will find a way to misunderstand this also.
