They were going to transform both sides of the Anacostia River for the games. DC would've had a Riverwalk project and the Olympic Village in that sector. And a second stadium for DC United The new plan is to build on the eastern side, the baseball stadium is first, I don't know, if the second stadium is still in the cards or if DC United will continue to play at RFK Scott A. If so, it ain't in Anacostia. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:196186 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
