could be. I have limited experience with the stuff. I said that because in that situation my impulse would be to use my rescue inhaler. I almost never use it but I keep one around. I was assuming that Paul did not have one, and thinking that Primatene is over the counter, therefore something he could try.
Albuterol jacks your heart rate up quite a bit too, though the one or two puffs you get from a standard inhaler is not enough to do so usually. I have had ER doctors gize me a nebulizer treatment "to see if it works" and won't allow it again... I am not the type to hyperventilate but I did, and was jittery for hours afterwards.
