+1.  That being said, I think there are places where government can
add value such as education.  The current system doesn't work too
well, but that's because it's so centralized.  Further the gov't
should be driving requirements.

For example, in MI they are requiring students to take multiple
languages and many schools are offering Chinese.  On the surface this
seems like a good idea, but if the Chinese speaking student has no
idea about the job market, how to market themselves, how to finance an
education and WHAT to finance, then the Chinese is worthless.

Gov't should be pulling reins back to focus on daily skills and the job market.
