We did the timeout thing with the crate for a while, but that made it
worse. Ziggy HATED the crate.

He never liked it, he never considered it his den, or anything the
trainer or vet said was normal when it came to the crate. We would put
him in the crate and he would wine, jump, bark, and everything else. We
were afraid he was going to hurt himself.

But he hasn't been in a crate in nearly 6 months now. He is out all day
and night. He comes and sleeps next to me on the floor all night.
