> Welcome to the wonderful world of globalisation :( Honestly I don't mind that much as I work for the French company involved and I do happen to know that the software engineers building/maintaining the software are the same ones that have been building/maintaining it all along; it's not as if the company outsourced to Bordeaux as soon as they took over (And FWIW the unit I work for has actually been owned by publicly-traded French companies for the better part of the last 15 years - the latest sale simply introduced a majority French Government-owmed company as owner).
I guess my concern here (and it is not one shared by the US government, obviously) is: how much trust are we putting in the hands of essentially foreign government controlled businesses? how much trust do we _want_ to put in them?
