If my friend told me he was giving my keys to another person, I would
take my keys back. I would try to find someone else to hold them. If I
couldn't, I'd keep the keys myself.

If it is a security risk, it does not matter that there are only 3
foriegn companies that can do it. Security is job 1. We find a way to
get it done.

If it turns out to not be a security risk (after much more thought and
investigation is done), then nothing changes.

The reason we aren't building US cars in the US anymore is that US car
companies have a huge debt from pensions that is going to break them,
that labor is much cheaper elsewhere, and that unions suck.

For the ports, a new company coming in does not have decades of poor
debt to cover, there is no benefit to outsourcing labor, since it has
to be done here anyway, and they have to deal with the corrupt unions
anyway.

>From what I have read, there are many American companies with the
ability to manage these ports (who are managing other ports both in
the US and other countries right now).

The choices are not as small as you think they are.
