Yes, we do. We know that it's a Muslim gang that calls itself the barbarians. We know the leader fled to the Ivory Coast and was captured and extradited. We know that this started Jan 21, so it's not new news. Just new to the world media because of a protest about how France 'hid' it under a normal murder wrapper till the information got out and they were forced to admit the details of the case. "It's not anti-Semitism, just a crime that targeted Jews". Hate crime is hate crime. This was a crime that targeted a member of a specific religion. Actually, many members of a specific religion with one being actually tortured and killed. The member of the specific religion was not released when the ransom didn't come. He was not just killed. He was tortured over 80% of his body. I'd say that's a hate crime.
