I think few people know about the Golden Mosque much less that it was bombed. The response is due, IMO, to the fact that things aren't getting better in Iraq, that Bin Laden releases more tapes than Barry Manilow, and that Bush threatened to veto any bill stopping the UAE taking over eastern ports. Moreover there's still significant fears about the economy. It's an economy fueled by home prices and debt which is never a strong one in a consumer's eyes because, even though they have lots of stuff, they also get a healthy bill at the end of the month and no longer have equity in their home. Rich people do great as they're typically investors and selling the stuff Joe Blow is buying, but your average American is a bit nervous that the gravy train is slowing down. So I think when you combine an Iraq that's not getting visibly better, a nervousness about the economy, and a VP that shoots people and has a ranch owner for a press office, people are going to be negative. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:198242 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
