See, Wayne, I happen to agree with Robert's definition. Communism is an economic theory. The way that capitalism is an economic theory. Read the "Communist Manifesto" for details. A good definition for me:
A theoretical economic system characterized by the collective ownership of property and by the organization of labor for the common advantage of all members. The "communist" Soviet Union combined communism (economic) with authoritarianism (political). According to Marx, it is a "dictatorship of the proletariat". Lenin saw it as a "soviet democracy". For me, things like anarchy, democracy, monarchy, theocracy, military dictatorship are political systems. They describe how a group (the "government") comes into and retains power. So I personally feel that Robert is more correct in this than Wayne. I definitely don't feel that a "He is completely wrong" was just, and the QED does not fit at all, since I don't see that anything was proven.
