I disagree.

This government is not right wing. Neo-cons are not even right wing. To me
they seem a lot more like spend and tax liberals. They like nothing more
than trouncing on individual's rights and thinking they know better than you
how to spend your money.

It's bull shit.

Christ now I'm getting all worked up. I need to get home and recreate for a
while.

umm... the politics of the stiff-arm. yes, bipartisan indeed.

Nah, really I asked as the sitting president and both houses o'congress are
in the firm clutches of the the right. They were then and they are now.
While I'm sure you're right and there were lots of Dems that supported this
measure, you cannot escape the fact that given a House and Senate majority
and a presidency that this is a right-leaning measure.

And if Dems were in control the way the Republicans are now, you'd be
bitching about exactly the same thing.

> What's the issue anyway? That the government knows you made a large

Yeah, actually that is only part of it. WTF right has the government got to
go sniffing about my credit card accounts? And why is it a flag-flipper to
pay off a debt? Are we expected to believe that payment of a credit card
debt is some harbinger of bio-terror? What exactly, and you can feel free to
answer this, but I have a feeling you won't, does paying off a debt have to
do with terrorism? Are we expected to believe that a terrorist is going to
throw some money at a credit card shortly before blowing himself up? Is
there perhaps some evidence that Atta paid his Citibank bill shortly before
boarding?

you may feel free to answer at any time.

> Haven't they always monitored any bank deposit of $10K and up?

Yes indeed they have, but this isn't a deposit to a bank account, and I for
one, do not think it necessary to flag a credit card payment in this way.
Somebody obviously did and they had more pull in Congress than I did.

> Do you think your credit report is not publicly available?

Gee gosh Sam... really? boy glad you let me know...

And no, I don't have anything to hide. My credit is shitty. but how the FUCK
is that the government's business?!!?!?!!?

And if I should decide to pay off a credit card, how exactly does that make
me a terror threat? Or even suspiscious?
