Well... sorta. It didn't seem to be a review of Mac Mini vrs any Media Center PCs but rather the concepts involved. There was a lot "most windows Media Center PCs we've done..." or "some Media Center PCs get it right but some don't..." In short it was comparing the whole universe of Media Center PCs - good, bad and ugly to one closed, well architected machine. I would love to see a round up of high-end PVR PCs (Macs, Windows and Linux) but this isn't it - it's an editorial at best. It would also be nice to include player-only devices like my favorite the I-O Data AvelLink and the SlingBox. (Unless you want/need PVR capability any of the PCs are just plain overkill.) The spend a lot of time on the iPOD but never mention that the majority of Windows Media PCs are dual-tuner while the Mac Mini as they've configured it is single tuner (and it starts out tunerless). But in short they're damning all Media Center PCs for the failings of some.
