Exactly - although for what it's worth on my little LAN I've happily been able to play two streams while moving files to the unit (the Avel Player and my PC both playing videos while I'm copying other videos to it) at the same time. I would never consider actually recording directly to it however for that you'd need the kind of bandwidth that Nick is talking about - especially if you're talking about multiple tuner PVRs.
