The government put an end to segregation before society was ready to
accept it, many still aren't.

There are times when government should act because society won't. Our
elected officials should not always vote as we think, but for they are
to look for what is best for us, for everyone in the district.

Marriage laws are states issues, some states will change their laws and
some won't.
