I Georgia it's not just tradition.  I mean it's tradition in the sense
that objects at rest tend to stay at rest.  However, in GA the blue
laws mostly live on due to some self righteous moral "high ground"
that represents a certain percentage of those who gladly embrace the
term bible belt.  The rest of us just stake our heads.
