In fact, they take Whitehouse press releases and EXPAND on them. That's unamerican. The US press is meant to be a check on power not an expansion of it. But you make a great argument Jerry. So, in my satire, gunman broke into an Iraqi bakery and murdered everyone in it. Is the reporter instead supposed to report on the great banana bread? Or does the reporter skip that? You say they should report on the schools opening? But not the armed escort they need to get there? That's just nuts. Reports aren't there to report on what's good because why do we care? Life's metrics are based on what's bad, not what's good. This is like saying that CNBC is always reporting on companies that don't make their numbers. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:201645 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
