southern accents sound dumb. i know for god's sake that that isnt true but its the common prejudice. british sounding accents are looked upon more favorably, and anything else is intriguing to most people. indian accents are growing more and more annoying as they are the sound of bad tech support. i can whip out about 4 or 5 good renditions of some accents... never on call, more situational. same reason im not a leading singer in a metal band... no balls :) but anyway... the point is... i love linguistics. love.
i study, replicate, practice and obsess on some sometimes. when i hear a new one i practice in my car, incessantly :) so, is that nuts? or normal? later tw On 3/28/06, Nick McClure <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Yeah we get that a lot.
