Subject: Re: Libby said Bush approved the leak?

If Libby's version is the truth, there is certainly an argument to be made
that it was unethical, but as Sam pointed out, everything Joe Wilson did
proceeded from an unethical act- failing to disclose his wife's connection
to his trip. His assertion, of course, is that she was a secret agent and he
could not disclose the connection without exposing her. In and of itself, I
believe his use of the law as a defense for disclosing his conflict of
interest is unethical. And that's what makes this case so interesting- it
shows how the world of politics and media really work.
