unpaid intern??!?

THAT is not the problem. The problem is, they should be documented migrant 
workers, on the path to citizenship, who would then be required by law to be 
paid at least minimum wage. Hector is happy making 2 bucks an hour.....but 
he SHOULD be making almost three times that. The company is getting 
near-slave labor, and they shouldn't be.

Because benefit to the US taxpayer should not come at the expense of an 
exploited group of desperate workers.

Hah! Don't be naive....you think the companies are paying these workers on 
the up-and-up? With full social security taxes? puh-leez....Hector is 
getting paid with a $100 bill at the end of the week.

Agreed. Instead, turn them into people on the path to US 
citizenship.....making then actual members of the US work force.
