You could do the revote till someone wins thing. First vote, no one wins, take the top 2 (if they went past the others by say 10%), move them into the next election, everyone has to vote for those two then.

In elections I want nothing short of a majority. I don't want a plurality. In general people will not accept a plurality, the Electoral College won't accept it. Should no candidate get the magic 270 then it goes to congress. Does your state accept pluralities for congressional races, or the governors office? > -----Original Message----- > From: William Bowen [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Wednesday, April 12, 2006 4:10 PM > To: CF-Community > Subject: Re: Seems the administration lied about the trailers too > > > I realized he got more than any one other person, but I truly > > believe > that > > had HRP not been in the running it would have been a second term for > Bush. > > getting the most votes as one candidate _is_ winning the popular vote, > it is not required to get more than all the rest put together. > > WTF? > ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:203990 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
