and I think that it is a complete cop out to defend the current administration's lackluster performance by saying that the guy who didn't get elected and isn't in charge now and _cannot_ make any decisions affecting public policy, foreign or domestic, would have been worse simply because you think he _might_ have been. The fact is, he is _not_ now in a position to deal with what this administration is dealing with, so sitting around and supposing what he _might_ have done is useless. I might as well say that a cruise missile strike launched by the Gore Administration in March of 2001 that never occurred took out Bin Laden while he was sleeping and prevented 9/11 from happening later that year. -- will "If my life weren't funny, it would just be true; and that would just be unacceptable." - Carrie Fisher ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:205713 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
