There's nothing wrong with answering the question as long as we return to the reason the question was asked in the first place. The question was posed in response to a statement about where we are being led by the current president. Instead of refuting the statement by saying "I don't think we're headed into the door...etc" because "I think Bush will solve this problem this way" the question was posed, "what if Gore was president?" What purpose does that serve if not to deflect criticism from the guy actually responsible for the leadership of this country? > However I didn't use it as a way to defend the current administration, which > I think is doing a pretty good job right now with Iran. I actually think that Bush is on the right track, but I have my fears that, as with Iraq, he'll be led down a path that promises glory and instead of listening to the people saying "all glory is fleeting" he'll be listening to the Valkyries and their war-song... that's all... -- will "If my life weren't funny, it would just be true; and that would just be unacceptable." - Carrie Fisher ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:205717 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
