its a combination of factors for me in my buying decisions.  I
actually looked at vw and audi when I recently went shopping for a new
car.  the vw was overpriced for the features and both are known for
having maintenance problems.

I ended up with an acura, which has great ratings in reliability and
includes a lot of fun gadgets...  I love my gadgets...
