Can honestly say I've never had an office discussion about how much of an
"arse" the PM of Britain is.....but anyway:

I see a scenario playing out like 1992. A smooth talking, relatively unknown
Democratic governor (or maybe Senator) separates himself from the pack, wins
the nomination, and trounces some stoic Republican nominee.

There can be a huge benefit to being a relative unknown....you may lack name
recognition at first, but you won't be travelling with the baggage of a
Biden or Clinton. You'll be considered a "fresh voice".
