>You actually think Sharon cares about world opinion ?
>again, his words....
>
>"Every time we do something you tell me America will
>do this and will do that . . . I want to tell you
>something very clear: Don't worry about American
>pressure on Israel. We, the Jewish people, control
>America, and the Americans know it."
>
>- Israeli Prime Minister, Ariel Sharon, October 3,
>2001.

That's a very harsh statement. I'm sure you can provide a link to the original,
correct? If not, then I'm going to just take it as a lie created by someone to cause
hate.

>Not very nice words from a guy who worries about world
>opinion!! And i was not talking about Hamas, i asked
>about arafat, why not assasinate him ? why even let
>him come into Israel in the first place ?
It wasn't Sharon's call to let him into Israel. I wouldn't have if it was my choice.
Hey, Bill Clinton, come on into my office and hang out with the secretarial pool. I
can trust you not to fool around with any of them. You've given your word.
Same thing with Arafat. Can't trust his word.

>Arafat is nothing but a blame goat, thats why he is still

Please! Where do you think the money for the weapons shipment came from? Who's telling
the police to release every terrorist they 'invite to be arrested'. He's a blame goat
because he's to blame. He's their president. He is in control and if he's not then he
should step down. Of course his speech saying that he wants to be a martyr for
Jerusalem (a name that doesn't even appear in the Kroan) and says that others should
be as well is nothing he should be blamed for, right?

>around...his mission is clear, you do the fighting for
>us, stop Hamas cause Israel has not been able to.....A
>civil war between the Palestinians is why sharon is
>keeping arafat around, not world pressure!
He's keeping presser on Arafat to do his job. To uphold his signed word. To stop
terror, to stop incitement, to bring peace. Arafat has yet to do this.

>And since he has nothing to do with the massacre, then
>let the courts decide, too bad the commander who was
>given the orders to commit the massacres was just
>assassinated a couple of weeks ago, and just two weeks
>before the trial, I wonder who did that!!!
Probably the people who claimed to do it. The ones who say that he was a syrian agent
and wants syria out of lebanon. You know. I think there should be suicide bombings
against syria. They're occupiers as well.
Oh, there's been a number of news articles claiming that he wasn't going to testify
against Sharon. Maybe he was killed for that. If your implying one side then you have
to take the conspiracy theory of the other at the same weight.

>BTW, Sabra and Shetala happened in 1982, not 1956!!
>
>And I was not aware that because I mentioned what
>Sharon has done that I also mention what the king of
>Jordan did to the Palestinians, what does one have to
>do with the other ?....
One was an attack by troops of a commander allied with Sharon and the other was a
direct order by the king. Your so focused on Israel and Sharon being a war criminal
that your blinding yourself from the truth of the area. If he's a war criminal then
every ruler in the area is 10 times as much. You blame Israel for this or that and on
the whole, they're better then their neighbors.

>As for Arafat, fry his ass, Death match till the end
>with Sharon, I dont care....and I dont see any
>reason you are so protective and sensitive towards
>Sharon, what has he done for Israel ? since he became
>Prime Minister, Israel economy and security has been
>at its worse, He alone is responsible for starting up
>another intifadah(war!!) again, after three yrs of
Wrong. It started when Arafat rejected a chance to have almost everything he wanted.
Barak was leader then, not Sharon. And it's been stated many times by Palestinian
officials that they were planning it for a while before. Sharon visiting Jerusalem (he
never went near the mosce) was just an excuse. Of course, the Palestinians don't allow
the Jews to worship at their holiest site. They even go so far as to claim it's not
even ours. The gall. We give them religious freedom and they give us the shaft.

>so when something promising such as this letter, who
>14 soldiers are now in jail for refusing to serve,
>comes out, its a good sign....
Yes, a sign that Israel wants peace. Now lets see the Palestinians say the same. Lets
see them stand up to the people shooting at Israeli motorists. Lets see them stand up
to the people telling their children that its good to die while killing a Jew. Lets
see the other side do the same. When we do, then I'll believe we have a chance for
peace.
