was concerned that they might still try for another developer from cf

Just be careful of your wording.  Perhaps suggesting that people might first
check some indicator of the problem -- like a D&B rating, or the state's
bankruptcy court filings under a business owner's name for various
businesses -- might not get you into legal trouble, but I'd check with an
attorney first.
