Just to warn you, you can't use Adobe trademarks in the domain name, without aggrivating the Adobe legal team. They do not allow third parties to register domain names with their trademarks in them. That means that "Adobe" is off-limits, and I suspect so is "ColdFusion".
Don't ask me how we are supposed to pick domain names using these guidelines. This caused a small commotion among Macromedia User Group managers after the Adobe / Macromedia merger. I'm unsure if calling the user group the "Ohio Adobe User Group" is allowed or not. I'm unsure if the Adobe legal team would try to enforce these rules. The best User Group name I've ever heard is CFUGitives, but that is already taken. I probably name the group rather plainly, like "Cincinnatti ColdFusion User Group" or "Ohio User Group" and then go with a domain like OhioCFUG.com or OCFUG.com . >its available. >looks good, but how do i get adobe or cf in there >ohfugCf >ohfugAdobe >?? > >On 7/6/06, Tony <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: >> ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Introducing the Fusion Authority Quarterly Update. 80 pages of hard-hitting, up-to-date ColdFusion information by your peers, delivered to your door four times a year. http://www.fusionauthority.com/quarterly Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/message.cfm/forumid:5/messageid:210832 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5
