I agree, and I don't see any point in trying to fight a ground war with Iran. at most, I could see us bombing the hell out of the iranian military (and nuclear) infrastructure. it would be best if things didn't get to that point. we'll see what happens.
as for the wider islamic world, it's iran and syria against everyone else.
