Power sucks. Yeah I need to figure out how much power my PC takes in... Maybe I should turn it off from time to time.
On another track - Along with solar there is a company just outside of Albany NY called PlugPower. They got some cool ideas for making energy. http://www.plugpower.com A while ago I was watching highlights of the Detroit auto show and there was the thing I've been waiting to see ever since I saw the press release on plugpowers' website. Honda R&D and Plug Power have collaborated on the development of the Home Energy Station under a series of phased agreements since 2002. The Home Energy Station, incorporating technologies from both Honda and Plug Power, provides heat and electricity for a home or small business and hydrogen fuel for a fuel cell automobile. The companies also collaborate on more general R&D topics to develop technologies for future products. Honda made this fuel cell thing that sits in your garage and provides power for your house and when you get home from work you plug your car in and re-charge.
