Our problem.. about 75% of the electric in Southern California generated by
Southern California Edison is from natural gas. Natural gas prices have went
through the roof. The other 25% comes from nuclear and other.

The nuclear rates are the same, but the Southern California Edison
generation rates (natural gas) went up and the added another tier to the
billing. Over 200% of your daily allocated KWh, and it is like $.35 per
KWh.

Plus, we had about 3 weeks of off the wall heat and humidity which made
things worse.

I have been getting bills of $300 these past few months. I live in Florida,
thanks to the hurricanes and the fact that they don't bury electric lines I
have to pay more for electricity.
