I'm a Nikon guy, I have a D2x, a D200, and a D100, and several lenses. I like the D70 because it still uses compact flash, the D50 does not, it uses SD. I'd probably go with that package, however if you do any night time shooting you'll probably want to get different lenses.
While the Fstop isn't bad, for low light situations it isn't great. > -----Original Message----- > From: Zaphod Beeblebrox [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Thursday, August 17, 2006 9:41 PM > To: CF-Community > Subject: Re: Hey photogs > > or maybe the Nikon D70 from Amazon. > > Nikon D70S Digital SLR Camera Kit with 18-70mm and 55-200mm Nikkor Lenses > $1044 > > Includes AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor 18-70mm f3.5-4.5G ED-IF and 55-200mm > f4-5.6G ED AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor lenses. > > or drop the 55-200mm lens and it drops down to $899. > ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Introducing the Fusion Authority Quarterly Update. 80 pages of hard-hitting, up-to-date ColdFusion information by your peers, delivered to your door four times a year. http://www.fusionauthority.com/quarterly Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:213524 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5
