I would say that's a symptom of their biggest failure: zero strategic competence. This administration eschewed the typical conservative abhorrence of foreign adventures in favor of a pie-in-the-sky, talk-to-nobody, ignore-all-non-supportive-data ideology. Remember the original line from Bush on Iraq? He said only the uniformed military would bear a burden for Iraq. That the average guy would pay no price and bear no burden. The counter point was voluminous and intense. They ignored it. Now we pay. In short, the Bush administration Middle East policy aligned our enemies and divided our allies. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Introducing the Fusion Authority Quarterly Update. 80 pages of hard-hitting, up-to-date ColdFusion information by your peers, delivered to your door four times a year. http://www.fusionauthority.com/quarterly Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:214299 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5
