I guess I am puzzled that you aren't concerned that someone running
for a national office would not acknowledge their Jewish heritage.
That is my question, and I think it was the reporter's question,
although she phrased it badly.  Not "what is your religion?", but "if
you have Jewish ancestry, why won't you admit it?"  Madeline Albright
was bombarded with this type of question when the news of her Jewish
ancestors came to light, and no one considered those questions
anti-Semitic.
