yeah, I saw the news story the other night on the local news and was going to post it. Supposedly, the school board says that there were other reasons why she was being fired. I don't buy it, since she's been teaching 27 years and she won teacher of the year for her ISD 2 years ago.
That kind of behavior from christian fundies isn't that surprising in Texas.....unfortunately.
