Hah. Our local libertarian candidate had so many flawed viewpoints I couldn't even imagine how he got nominated. I actually considered him last time because I didnt' want to vote for Elizabeth Dole, and I didn't want to vote for Erskin Bowles (who lost and is now President of the UNC system) But after reading his stances on issues.. wow. The most amusing was that he felt the EPA was illegal and should be eliminated. I think the EPA is absolutely necessary to prevent corporate america from abusing the environment. He also had some pretty outrageous views on gun control (I'm a supporter of gun control). Now you see some of my liberalism :) When I lived in Ann Arbor, there was a running joke that said every election year, the Libertarians would have a bowl-off to determine who should run for office. The loser got the nomination.
