You see the glass as half empty while I see it as half full. You use increased deaths as your measure and I use 300,000 Iraqi soldiers and elections as mine. You throw your hands up and say it's a done deal lets accept our loss and leave, I say don't let the heroes die in vain. Move forward and finish because the reward will be so enormous if we succeed. The terrorists have to fail, we have no other option.
I believe Baker would kiss up to Syria and Iran while pissing on Israel. My fear is if we don't finish this by 2008 we'll go back to the policy of appeasing the terrorist states and praying they won't bother us. We're way past that stage.
