I made a deposit of $11,500 into my account. Of course they put a hold on it. The check has cleared and I brought in proof from Citibank that the check cleared.
They are still keeping a hold on the check. Until Tuesday. Reason, because we can. That was their reason. I have made numerous large deposits in the past 10 years and had holds taken off within a couple days. But not now. Looks like I will be closing my checking, savings, 2 credit cards and LOC...
