I was surprised at an Ajax conference that I just attended that there 
were *very* few .NET developers and tons of Java developers.  (Nary a 
CFer to be found, either...) I don't know if it's the nature of the Ajax 
crowd, or this conference in particular, or a sign of what's to come in 
development.  It sure did give the Java world a bit more visibility than 
I had previously seen, though...
