you seem to think this is some sort of gotcha. Maybe they are legit
and maybe they aren't. That one Mideast expert didn't seem to think
so. Me, I don't claim to be a Mideast expert.

Your guy here seems to be saying that we got rid of Rumsfeld in order
to see him replaced with something worse. This possibility has
occurred to me. I am currently without an opinion on the topic.

Getting rid of Rumsfeld is a nice symbolic gesture but then so was
firing Brownie, who seems, in retrospect, to have been the only one
who gave a damn about New Orleans. But hey. It isn't what you do, it's
whether you look good on TV.
