So instead of greating one country with internal strife, we create 3 new
countries that all war with each other. Yes, that is a wonderful solution.

How exactly do you plan on telling the other two factions that the third is
getting the land with all the oil?

I like the idea of an independent kurdistan (i'm also quite surprised Turkey
is surporting this, where did you hear that?), but I think the Sunnis and
the Shiites will have to learn to live together in some capacity. Otherwise
Iraq is toast.
