My best party recipe at the moment: Bite sized stuffed shrimp:
Take medium (or large) raw shrimp tail on. Make sure they are deveined. Butterfly the top curve of the shrimp (cut it about 3/4 of the way through along the back "spine"). spread this open slit out against a cooking sheet with tinfoil on it, and the tail will curve up and back, kind of like the letter J. Place about a 3/4 of an inch blob of stuffing (ritz cracker crabmeat stuffing is my favorite) on the back of each. Cook at a decently high temp until the shrimp pinks and the stuffing starts to crisp on the edges. The tails provide a great little handle. No mess except for a bowl for the tails On 11/27/06, Erika L.
