Well said. Unfortunately, I'm around the age where I have quite a few acquaintances that are going through divorces. I'd say out of the 5 that I know of, 1 was ugly from the beginning, and 3 were "mutual" where the split started off civil, but once the lawyers got involved, it got ugly and very much unruly, with tug-of-wars over homes, children, and child support. The single remaining one actually stayed nicey-nicey, but they didn't have any children to drive between them.
