Bah.  It's all in the OS ;P  Install SuSE instead.  I can upload the Disk 1 
ISO, you can do a min. install from that, and install the rest via yast.... =D

What type of filesytem(s) are you installing.  Ext2?  Ext3?  ReiserFS? etc?  
If you're using Reiser, make sure that at least the /boot partition (you do 
have a seperate 16M boot partition, right? ;P ) is ext2.  From there you also 
have to make sure that any other FS is compiled into the kernel that's 
booting...  As noted before, you did do the boot disk thing on install, 
right?  I haven't messed with RH in a while, so I can't 'member what the 
install's like....
