Why should we allow a government organization to sell a pamphlet supporting the view of a particular religion about the origin of the Grand Canyon? Clear violation of separation of church and state.
Repressing scientific discourse in the name of religion is just wrong. Remember how Galileo was ex-communicated by the Catholic Church for daring to claim that the Earth was not the center of the universe? It took 500 years for the Church to admit their mistake and rescind his ex-communication. Science can absolutely prove that the Grand Canyon was not created by a single event only a few thousand years in the past. Too bad if it doesn't jive with what fundamentalists believe.
