This is a big part of what I'm talking about. I turn my lights off, and I use compact fluorescents in some places, but not all, as most of my lights have dimmer switches or are on motion detectors so the fluorescents can't be used there. My personal concern is on the cost, I'd rather pay less on my electric bill, so I'm going to turn lights off, and not use the heat or AC when I'm not there, however that doesn't solve the problem of making it better for when I do need it.
The supply issue is my main concern, find a better way to create electricity then we'll be fixing the problems. Wind, solar, and hydroelectric power are great, but are expensive, and difficult to do. Nuclear is good, but dangerous. I think the government should require that government offices only buy hybrid or alternative fuel sources cars, unless there is a specific need. If we the government can create the demand for these things internally, then the price will fall for the consumers as well. > -----Original Message----- > From: Cameron Childress [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > > Tackling energy supply is what interests me the most for sure.
